POETRY COMPETITION: RESULT

We are delighted to announce the winner and runner up of our first poetry competition, judged by our resident poet, Dorothy Pope.

The theme was 'School'.  The winner was Finola Scott, with her poem 'Everyday Treasure'.  Finola wins the prize of £100.  The runner-up was 'Education' by Cathy Bryant.

Dorothy Pope's report, together with the text of the winning entry and the runner-up, will be published in the Society's journal, Quest.

Watch this space for the announcement of the Society's next poetry competition, which will appear within the next few weeks.
